We are Elicity App, the dating app where people actually meet. The App and Sites are operated by the “Elicity Technologies OÜ” (also referred to in this policy as “us,” “we,” the “Company” or “Elicity”).
This is a contract between you and the Elicity Technologies OÜ (as defined further below) and we want you to know yours and our rights before you use the Elicity application (“App”).
1. What personal data do we collect?
Registration Information
When you register at Elicity App and create an account (“Account”), we collect the following information (“Registration Information” ) about you:
- Your name;
- Your mobile number;
- Your gender;
- Your date of birth;
- Your sexual preference;
- Your location preferences;
- Photographs;
- Location;
Once you download Elicity App and register, you can alter the following registration information: sexual preference, location preferences and your photos. Changing the name, mobile number, gender and date of birth are currently not supported. It is your responsibility and in your interests to keep your account information up to date and true.
The registration information is required for us to enhance the App and provide a better service to our Users. Registration Information such as your name, age and photos and location preferences may be visible to other Users.
Profile information
Please note that the information you disclose about yourself to other Users using the messaging function in Elicity App is at your own risk. We do not recommend sharing sensitive information about yourself (such as emails, credit card details, national ID numbers) with Users you have not met.
Geolocation Information
If you have allowed access to your location when using Elicity App, we save the information about your device’s geographic longitude and latitude. This is necessary for us to load suitable profiles of other Users and Locations around you.
Cookies
If you visit our Elicity App website or use our App, we may automatically collect personal data from you using cookies or similar technologies. A cookie is a tiny file that is usually saved on your device or browser and it helps to recognise and remember you.
2. Use of the collected information
Our mission is to make Elicity App a place that helps our Users to go out and meet up in real life. In order to provide you with these services and experiences, we may use your Registration information and other data to:
- notify you about App updates and new features
- suggest our services and features that may be suitable for you
- optimize and personalise the content we display to you
- research and analyse data on how you use and interact with Elicity App and our websites
- resolve disputes
3. Our Age Policy
Elicity App does not knowingly collect any information about children, minors or any person under the age of 18, hence during the registration process, we ask you to state your true age.
If you are younger than 18 years old, we request you not to register on Elicity App. If we will become aware of a person under the age of 18 that created an account on the Elicity App, we will terminate that user’s account.
4. What rights do you have over your data
The particular data privacy rights which are applicable to you as an Elicity App user may vary depending on your country. You should inquire about the rights you have under applicable privacy laws in your country.
5. Data retention and account deletion
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it and as permitted by applicable law.
You may permanently delete your Account on Elicity App at any time and your Registration Information will be removed along.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
6. Changes to the Policy
As we continuously improve our app and websites, we may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. This is the most recent version of the policy that manages our use of your data. If we make a major change to this policy, we shall notify you.
